Collective Portrait Night, with a challenge to draw the best float. Kimberley and I tied at the drawing challenge, so the tie-breaker was the best Napoleon impression. Kimberley won the Moleskine by a mile (a short mile).
We are a small Toronto-based artists' community. Founded in 2009 through Craigslist, this modest weekly life drawing session, through word of mouth (and Facebook), grew into a heterogeneous amalgam of young and young-ish, professional and merely virtuosic, female and hairy, with a common thirst for artistic expansion, a friendly disposition and a warped mind. Each session is set in a different locale, with a distinct model and features refreshments, baked goods and Pablo, our goth puppy.
